Grief Support Group, Spring 2024

Hospice of Northeast Missouri, a service of Hannibal Regional, is offering a six-week grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.

Topics include: understanding the grief process; personal loss history and its impact on the grief process; distinguishing between grief and mourning, dealing with insensitive people; grief’s impact on a family system; self-care and observing special occasions. Carrol Davenport, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Coordinator, will serve as the group facilitator.

Participants may sign up for either the Monday six-week session or the Wednesday six week session.

Times: Mondays - 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Dates: April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, & May 6
OR
Wednesdays - 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
Dates: April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, & 8
