Hospice of Northeast Missouri, a service of Hannibal Regional, is offering a six-week grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.
Topics include: understanding the grief process; personal loss history and its impact on the grief process; distinguishing between grief and mourning, dealing with insensitive people; grief’s impact on a family system; self-care and observing special
occasions and the holidays.
Group facilitator is Carrol Davenport, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Coordinator.
WHEN: Every Monday from September 18th through October 23rd
(September 18th and 25th; October 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd)
TIME: Two session times will be offered.
